Self-Assessment

Over the last two months, I was in the Walt Whitman Creative Studies Program. Through the class, I have been able to express my creativy through art, english, even through myself. I have learned that I hide too much inside; I too afraid to get "freaky". I learned how to make a puppet and be able to make it move. I found out that I am not unable to write poerty, and that it can be done in a number of ways. I could out that it's okay to let the "dark" side out once in a while. Also that showing everything you have to someone will not freak them out.

I also found out that sometimes, if you want great pictures, you have to take more than one shot. And if you have to look towards nature.

Hey I think you did a great job. Realizing you're too reserved is definitely a plus. At least you got something out of it. I dig the poems. I dig the pictures too, especially the inner child ones.....very cool. I'm happy to see you've opened up a little bit. At least this blog wasn't a total loss! you did the work and got something out of it, mission accomplished.

Hey! I love your rants, pictures, and pretty much everything about your blogs. I'm glad you learned a lot throughout this experience and also that you opened up so much. Your photos are awesome, especially the retreat ones(which do in fact look like they came out of a painting like you said). I also really like how you posted pictures of your brothers artwork and drawings which I think are really, really good. Congrats on doing such a great job with the blogs!

I personally wanted to thank you for your great blogs because they actually influenced a lot of what i wrote :) Reading from the first blog to last, you really have come a long way from venting to writing poetry! I'm not positive but i'm pretty sure you were the one on the first day of class to say that you didn't like poetry :D you really have grown and it's been a pleasure to see it all unfold!
