Eulogy

Today, we come together to celebrate the life of Megan. It was a long life, 97 years is nothing to sneeze about, and during her life she made many huge accomplishments.

Graduating from elementary school, then high school, then college - where she got her masters for Childhood Education/English. She then married her dear husband, Jack, when she was 25. Starting her own nursey school in her house, which then lend her to the building on 51st and 2nd. Then having her oldest, David Ryan, then her beautiful girl, Hannah Ruth.

She never regreted anything. While she was wild and crazy, she knew more about life then anyone. She always knew what to say, and when to say it. She was good for a life - sometimes unintentionally. How she always mispronounced things and could trip over her own two feet made everyone around her giggle.

One thing that we will always remember about Megan was her love for children. She started working with them when she was in the sixth grade, and while she got frustated and stated that she was going to give it up, she never could. She loved children too much. That is why she couldn't wait to have her own, and had David at 27. In a room filled with people, Megan always was talking to the children, hearing what they had to say and what exciting things they learned. She couldn't get enough.

Her love for reading was something everyone will remember. Most people will always remember her holding some book in her hand. It was a good bet that it was a romance novel too, since she didn't like anything else.

Yes, Megan lived a strong and successful life. She will certainly be missed.
